What to Expect
On your first visit, just look for the Faith Family Kids’ Check-In area. You’ll be greeted by a Faith Family Kids leader, eager to meet your family, and you’ll learn how Faith Family Kids works. We’ll be there every step of the way (right up to your child’s room), so feel free to ask questions!
Because we value safety, we will need some information when you check-in including: family member’s name, child’s name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).
During Service
Faith Family Kids has four unique environments: Babies 0-18 months, Toddlers 18 months-2 years, Preschool 3-5 years, and Kids 6-12 years (Primary 1-6). While you attend the main service of Faith Family Church, your kids will get age-appropriate teaching, worship, and games that engage their heart and help them grow in their faith.
After Service
One of the main ways Faith Family Kids partners with parents is by sending every child home with a challenge card designed for the whole family. Parents engage with their kids during the week through the challenge card and kids gain points to receive prizes at Faith Family Kids by completing the activities on the challenge card!
How Secure Check-In Works
In Faith Family Kids, safety is a core value. That’s why we have a secure check-in system.
1. During your first visit, you’ll be assisted to check-in your child. The next time you join us, you can use your phone number to check-in on your own at any available station.
2. Upon check-in, you’ll receive identification labels. Your child will need to wear the name label and you will need to keep the parent label. After the service, you’ll show the Faith Family Kids leader your parent label in order for your child to be released from his/her room.
3. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either text message you or we will share your child’s last name and identification code on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you immediately find a Faith Family Kids leader who will direct you to your child’s room.
Check-in opens 15 mins before the start of the service and closes when the service starts.
What We Value
Safety
Safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why you and your child will receive an identification label. Additionally, every volunteer goes through background screening.
Character Building
At Faith Family Kids we believe it is vital that good character be built into each child to become the amazing person God has created them to be. We will help teach them how to love their family, share with their friends, and instill in them values such as honesty, patience, gentleness… and many more!
English Learning
At Faith Family Kids your child will have the opportunity to learn from one-on-one English communication, English crafts, English videos, and English games and more!
Creative Biblical Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! And we strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want all kids to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
Relationships
We want to help you strengthen the relationship and closeness you have with your children. As your child builds relationships with you, Faith Family Kids leaders, and other children, they gain the support and confidence to fulfill their unique, God-given purpose. When you commit to your child attending a Faith Family Kids service each week, your child has the opportunity to grow in their relationships with people and their relationship with Jesus.
Fun!
When kids have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back! And we know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and teaching.
English Learning with Western Teachers
Jael Fischer, the Children’s Ministry Director, has a deep love for the children in Hong Kong. She teaches in English from hand-picked English curriculum from the USA and Australia.
